Muscle Meat:

This is the main ingredient of the barf raw food diet.primary source of protein in diet is boneless muscle meat. There are two types of muscle meat white muscle meat :chicken and turkey where the other is red muscle meat : pork, beef, lamb.white meat has low amount of myoglobin in muscle tissue as fibres does not need more oxygen for energy production.

Red meat has a higher amount of myoglobin in muscle tissue as fibres require high oxygen for energy production.red and white meat both are extremely important for overall growth and wellbeing. They are rich in protein, fats, minerals, and water-soluble vitamins.

Raw animal fat:

Canine requires fat for day to day energy level physical activity and metabolic processes.

Sourcing raw animal fat from fatty proteins is an ideal way to increase fat in lean meals or for highly active pets.

Liver:

It is the most essential source of vitamin A vitamin B ,iron, copper and folic acid. vitamin A helps in digestion, works as the best antioxidants and helps in the reproductive system.

Other Organs:

Kidney, spleen, pancreas and brain

Kidneys are good sources of selenium, vitamin B and vitamin D.

Spleen is a great source of amino acid and iron.

Brain is virtually a 1:1 protein to fat ratio and the fatty acid content in raw brains.

Organs are full of multivitamins.

Green tripe:

Green tripe is the stomach lining of ruminant animals such as cattle, lamb, and goats. Green tripe has a 1:1 balanced calcium to phosphorus ratio and is a good source of manganese. It works as a probiotic due to lactobacillus acidophilus bacteria.It is full of amino acids, enzymes and important fatty acids.

Eggs:

Egg is only available in two of our formulas as we want to keep some of the diet free from poultry. Eggs are an excellent source of protein, vitamin B and vitamin D. egg shells are also important for calcium amount. 

Spinach:

Most common green leafy vegetable which is full of fibre magnesium, folate, and manganese. It has very low carbohydrate and zero sugar and starch.

Bones and Bone Marrow:

It is a great source of calcium 

Kale:

This vegetable is full of beneficial phytonutrients as well as essential nutrients beneficial for optimal health. Kale is high in Vitamin K, folate, and Vitamin C.It has high fibre, very low carbs and zero sugar and starch.

Sweet potato:

Good source of healthy starch. It has a high glycemic index.

Carrots:

Carrots are a good source of vitamin K, vitamin C, fibre, and potassium. It is rich in beta carotene which is very helpful in vision, to fight heart disease and cancer.

Apples:

It is full of vitamin C and fibre.

Broccoli:

Broccoli is a good source of fibre and protein, and contains iron, potassium, calcium, selenium and magnesium as well as the vitamins A, C, E, K and a good array of B vitamins including folic acid.

Romaine lettuce:

Although it's low in fibre, it's high in minerals, such as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium. It's naturally low in sodium. Plus, romaine lettuce is packed with vitamin C, vitamin K, and folate. It's a good source of beta carotene, which converts into vitamin A in the body.

Tomato:

Tomatoes are the major dietary source of the antioxidant lycopene, which has been linked to many health benefits, including reduced risk of heart disease and cancer. They are also a great source of vitamin C, potassium, folate, and vitamin K.The bright and vibrant red hue of many vegetables is due to lycopene and anthocyanin. Both are powerful carotenoids known for their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits against free radicals.

Strawberries:

Blueberries:

Blueberries are a great source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and more.They exert a protective effect on LDL and protect the cells from oxidation. Studies show blueberries have anti-carcinogenic properties.

Sunflower seed:

Sunflower seed is rich in omega-6, an essential fatty acid that must be gotten through food (your dog's body cannot make it). Omega-6's help stimulate skin and hair growth, maintain the reproductive system, and promote a healthy immune system.Many raw diets are often lacking in fat-soluble Vitamin E, and sunflower seeds are a great whole food source of the essential nutrient.

In addition to the Vitamin E levels in sunflower seeds, they are also high in vitamin B6 and B9.
